Post Surgical Therapy

We work with many different types of post surgical clients to help them heal faster, decrease scarring, and improve pain after a procedure. After surgery, due to the medications and damage done during the surgery, swelling is induced and can be chronic for several weeks to months post op. We offer a variety of therapies to help decrease swelling and pain such as manual lymphatic drainage, and a variety of modalities to help improve scarring and fibrosis such as Ultrasound Therapy. At the clinic, our staff is well equipped to help you throughout the post surgical journey so you get the best results.

Hormone Therapy

Hormones are the signaling molecules of the body that are required in very specific ratios for us to feel our best. If these ratios are off we can feel fatigued, gain weight, have difficulty sleeping, or have difficulty focusing. We look at all hormones, including insulin, cortisol, Thyroid, and sex hormones! Additionally, it is not enough to merely “be in the reference range” if you want to feel your best. At Wellspring we understand how to optimize hormones to help you feel and look your best.

Autoimmune Support

Being diagnosed with an Autoimmune disease is challenging and discouraging. At Wellspring, we offer new therapies and hope for those who feel discouraged. We provide everything from dietary changes and hormone management to IV therapy and peptide therapy. We are constantly working to find new ways to help treat autoimmune diseases. If one treatment doesn’t work, we will find another that will!

Peptide Therapy

Peptides are small proteins that can be used for a variety of medical conditions. Generally, most peptides are made in your body already, but may not be a high enough amount to reap the full benefits. Because they are naturally occurring in the body, Peptides tend to be very safe and have few side effects.

Weight Loss

If you are ready to create a lifestyle free of quick fixes, our programs will get your there.
Step 1: Schedule a consult with Dr Hammer
Step 2: Schedule New Patient Visit
Step 3: Complete all labs and imaging needed
Step 4: Schedule follow up visit
Step 5: Start the program that fits your health goals. Dr Hammer has developed a program that not only addresses what you are eating and doing for fitness but creates space for you to dive into the reasons behind your food choices and behaviors. Weight is also heavily influenced by hormones so addressing those, while creating lifestyle changes, truly is the only way to see results and sustain them.

Acupuncture and Dry Needling

Acupuncture points are believed to stimulate the central nervous system. This, in turn, releases chemicals into the muscles, spinal cord, and brain. These biochemical changes may stimulate the body's natural healing abilities and promote physical and emotional well-being.

NET Therapy

Neuro Emotional Technique is a muscle testing process that works with the physiology of emotional/stress responses. Using NET, we can find and remove neurological imbalances related to unresolved stress patterns. NET is not psychology or psychiatry and does not involve “talk it out” therapy. It is a tool that can be used to help improve many behavioral and physical conditions. Using muscle testing, our emotional/stress responses help to identify and neutralize negative patterns. NET helps to resolve past and present imbalances and unresolved issues in your life. Removing these creates homeostasis in the body, allowing you to feel happier, more at ease, and significantly less stressed!

Dr. Angie Hammer, NMD

Dr. Angie has long standing history with fitness and working with athletes. She herself was a varsity athlete and distance runner ranking in top of her age group for many years. But it didn’t start out that way. She was clinically obese when she was young and struggled with body image issues, bullying, and trying to find her passion. As she grew older, she found sports to be a good outlet for her, and discovered how nutrition, training, and sleep can make or break your performance. She became a personal trainer at age 18, achieved her Bachelors Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, then went on to complete her Naturopathic Medical Doctorate from SCNM in Tempe, AZ.

Her passion is giving her patients hope again and empowering them to take control of their own health. She loves working with those who are ready to make changes to their lifestyle in order to achieve long term results. Her goal is to work WITH her patients to find a treatment plan that works best for them. Many of her treatment plans include optimizing the hormones and blood sugar, addressing food sensitivities, treating autoimmune diseases, and often counseling so help patients have more energy, perform better, manage their weight and feel confident in their own body again.
