Dr. Angie has long standing history with fitness and working with athletes. She herself was a varsity athlete and distance runner ranking in top of her age group for many years. But it didn’t start out that way. She was clinically obese when she was young and struggled with body image issues, bullying, and trying to find her passion. As she grew older, she found sports to be a good outlet for her, and discovered how nutrition, training, and sleep can make or break your performance. She became a personal trainer at age 18, achieved her Bachelors Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, then went on to complete her Naturopathic Medical Doctorate from SCNM in Tempe, AZ.
Her passion is giving her patients hope again and empowering them to take control of their own health. She loves working with those who are ready to make changes to their lifestyle in order to achieve long term results. Her goal is to work WITH her patients to find a treatment plan that works best for them. Many of her treatment plans include optimizing the hormones and blood sugar, addressing food sensitivities, treating autoimmune diseases, and often counseling so help patients have more energy, perform better, manage their weight and feel confident in their own body again.

I am a naturopathic doctor with a passion for finding the root cause of symptoms. I start by looking at the basic foundations of health, such as diet, sleep, stress, and emotions, then usually look further into hormonal and metabolic health. I love the challenge and enjoy helping patients rebuild a strong foundation so the body can start to heal itself. I studied at both Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine & Acupuncture. This combination allows me to combine modern science with naturopathic and traditional Chinese medicine so that I can individualize each treatment specific to the patient.
