  • If you are under light to moderate stress/light activity level: 1-2 times a month
  • If you are just starting to workout, are an athlete, have pain, or limited mobility: 2-4 times a month

Traditional massage is the manipulation of tissues and muscles and designed to release muscle tension, which can help with pain. The pressure is significantly more than that used in lymphatic treatments.

Lymphatic treatments are used to reduce swelling, pain, and boost the immune system. The pressure is very light and is not designed to relieve muscle tension. For more information on lymphatic therapy, check out our page on Manual Lymphatic Drainage Treatments.
